NEW DRIVING STANDARDS AGENCY PRACTICAL MOTORCYCLE TEST DELAYED TILL 2009 |

WHAT IS THE NEW MOTORCYCLE TEST ? The new proposed motorcycle test IS DELAYED UNTIL 30th MARCH 2009 and will consist of two parts. The first part to be conducted on site at the DSA South Wigston multi purpose test centre and the second conducted on road. It is proposed that the second part (road skills) can only be booked after successful completion of part one (on site manoeuvring skills). Both parts of the test will need to be completed within two years of passing a theory test. The diagram on the left highlights the manoeuvring course and the skills that need to be performed correctly. The skills tested are listed 1 - 11. It should be noted that the only part of these skills not currently covered in your CBT training is the 30mph avoidance manoeuvre. |
